The Multi-Signal Problem

A JMeter test run produces load-generator-side metrics: response times, throughput, error rates. But those are only part of the story. The system under test is also producing signals:

• CPU and memory usage on application servers
• Database query execution times and lock waits
• JVM garbage collection frequency and pause duration
• Connection pool utilization
• Cache hit rates
• Queue depths in message brokers
• Kubernetes pod restarts or OOM kills
