Knowing that your checkout endpoint is slow is useful. Knowing why it is slow (and specifically what to fix) is the ideal outcome of performance testing.

A bottleneck is the constraint that limits your system’s performance. Fix it and the system gets faster. Ignore it and no amount of horizontal scaling or tuning elsewhere will help.
