Chapter 4: Test Results Analysis
Running the test is the easy part. Analyzing and understanding test results is the most time-consuming and difficult part of performance testing.
A 30-minute load test against a moderately complex application can produce thousands of data points, including hundreds of transactions, multiple error types, and metrics from every layer of the system under test. Reading through all of that manually (When did things start to degrade? Which transaction was worst? Did the error rate spike before or after throughput plateaued?) takes experience and time.
AI can do much of this reading for you at a faster rate and surface the things that actually matter.
