The Maintenance Problem

Performance test scripts break. Applications change: endpoints get renamed, request parameters change, response schemas change, and new authentication mechanisms get added. Any of these changes can break a script that was working fine last week. If a project is being actively developed, keeping performance tests up to date can become a significantly time-consuming activity.

Auto-healing is the practice of using AI to detect when a script has broken due to application changes and automatically (or semi-automatically) fix it.
