Course Summary

You can replace hard-coded values in Performance tests with test data loaded from CSV spreadsheets and other sources by editing the JMeter script. This course shows how to make the most of BlazeMeter's built-in support for test data in Performance Testing. 

In this course, we will:

  • Explain how to prepare the test script in JMeter to use BlazeMeter test data
  • Show how to parameterize a Performance test to use data from CSV files
  • Teach you how to amend static test data with synthetic test data
  • Demonstrate how to share test data with team members

Prerequisites 

This course uses concepts and procedures that were introduced in the BlazeMeter PerformanceTesting Fundamentals and BlazeMeter Test Data: Fundamentals classes.

This course does not include guided exercises. 


Required Software

The BlazeMeter Test Data for Performance Testing class requires a free or enterprise-level BlazeMeter account, and the free Apache JMeter application.

  6. Data Settings, Data Sharing, and Previewing (15 min)

  7. Exam 

Total estimated duration: 1 hour


Course Completion Criteria 

This course contains a final exam. To complete the course, you must pass the final exam with a score of 80% or higher. 

Upon completion, you will receive:
