BlazeMeter Launches JMeter Academy
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 27, 2017— CA BlazeMeter, the leader in open source-based continuous performance testing, has launched a free online JMeter Academy for developers, performance engineers, DevOps test automation engineers and QA engineers.
Through videos, demos, lab guides and tests, course graduates will gain broad Apache JMeter™ knowledge. The courses will teach them how to run basic and advanced tests with the popular open-source load testing tool, JMeter. By learning how to use JMeter, they can ensure their website or app doesn’t crash under heavy traffic spikes, like during Black Friday, for example.
“BlazeMeter has always contributed greatly to the JMeter community and today I’m happy to share that we’ve launched a one-of-its-kind free online academy,” says Clare Avieli, Director of Product Marketing at CA BlazeMeter and the academy manager. “The JMeter Academy offers a clear learning plan, taking you from A to Z.”
The first course covers JMeter installation, building a script, basic and advanced JMeter elements, script recording and smart scripting. Future courses will cover more advanced JMeter scenarios and Continuous Integration. Load and performance testing and Continuous Integration are a crucial part of development and identifying bottlenecks and errors.
